“LeVar Burton Springs” takes inspiration from a voice dictation app mishap, substituting a well known intersection in Austin, Texas for a Hollywood actor.
A friend of Mine Da Gap’s Greg Bueno posted this mistake on the site formerly known as Twitter, to which Greg replied, “This is your band name.” He immediately realized the entire tweet could be a song.
The resulting track is propelled by artificial singers, drum loops and the 12-bar blues.
