“Soliloquy of a Vampire,” a nine-minute work for virtual orchestra, heads to streaming platforms and Bandcamp as a single in April 2026.

This student work started off as a piece for narrator and piano based on text by Anne Rice. For the original release of Empty Ensemble’s debut album, composer Greg Bueno removed the text and orchestrated the piano part.

For the 10th anniversary reissue, this track is moving from String Quartet Songs, Vol. 1 to Gakusei to better reflect its status as a student work.
